Most people hit GTA V's finale with one thing on their mind: make the call, live with it, move on. Maybe you've been grinding for cars, gear, and GTA 5 Money, and you're ready to wrap the story like you've seen a hundred times on YouTube. But there's a tiny, nasty little secret baked into that last choice that the game never spells out. You can actually change your mind after you've already picked an ending, and it's so quick you'll miss it if you blink.

When Franklin gets cornered into choosing, the game funnels you toward three outcomes. Pick Ending A, and Franklin immediately calls Trevor to set up a meet. It feels final, like you've crossed the line. Then there's a short pause—about ten seconds—and the game forces another call, this time to Michael, to confirm what's about to happen. After that, your map gets stamped with the mission marker that pushes you straight into the kill-Trevor route. If you pick Ending B, it's the same rhythm in a different order: Franklin calls Michael first, waits that same brief beat, then rings Trevor, and the map updates to send you down the kill-Michael track.

That little pause isn't just dramatic timing. It's playable time. You can move, you can open menus, you can act. And because most players are just sitting there watching Franklin's phone drama unfold, they never test it. But if you're fast—like, "hands already on the buttons" fast—you can pull up Franklin's phone during that gap before the second scripted call triggers. It's a weird feeling. The game's telling you it's decided, while quietly leaving the door cracked open.

Here's the trick, step by step, in normal order: 1) choose Ending A or Ending B, 2) as soon as the first call finishes, open your phone immediately, 3) manually dial Lester before the second automatic call kicks in. Franklin will tell Lester he's in deep and needs help. Do that in time and the whole script swerves. The game drops your original plan like it never happened and flips you onto Ending C instead. No "T" marker, no "M" marker—just an "L" marker telling you to meet Lester and figure out how to keep everyone breathing.

It's such a Rockstar move: let you commit to something ugly, then give you a slim escape hatch that rewards curiosity and quick fingers. It also changes the vibe of that last decision. You're not just picking a menu option; you're having a last-second panic, calling the one guy who always has a workaround, and choosing not to torch your own crew. If you're replaying the campaign, try it once just to see how cleanly it snaps into place—then go celebrate your survival run however you like, whether that's a heist loop, a rampage, or deciding to buy cheap GTA 5 Money for the stuff you actually want to mess around with afterward.RSVSR is where GTA V feels alive again—clean tips, no waffle, just stuff that works. That final choice? If you pick A or B, you've got a tight 10‑second gap before Franklin's second call; pop open the phone, ring Lester, and you can pivot straight into Ending C.
